About Project

A new brand identity for the Champlain College Competencies, which are twelve learning goals integrated into Champlain College’s courses. I was the lead graphic designer for this project, leading a team of four others to develop a brand identity, informational website, and student facing awareness campaign. For this project, the bulk of my work went into brand identity development and web design.

Project Phases

Planning & Audience Research

I started this project by researching the needs of students and faculty to understand what was needed from a Champlain College Competencies brand identity. Before the rest of the team was hired, I worked alongside my manager to determine the outcomes and labor needs for this project.

Brand Development

I began brand development based on my previous research on the needs of the audience. I continued to iterate based on client feedback with my team until we reached the final outcome. 

Concept Development

Our team further developed the concepts for the student facing campaign and website, which then were approved by the client.   

Website & Campaign Development

Our team developed the website and student facing campaign, with the majority of my work going towards refining the user interface design and user experience design of the website.
